Welcome to Jim Jensen's website
Woodcarving has been used for centuries for art, sculptures, and religious purposes to name a few functions. Jim has designed his carvings in appreciation of wildlife in the local area. Bear carvings have fit well into this art form and drawn attention to the art of woodcarving and sculptures. The use of the wood burners has created a new technique that adds hair, color, and fine detail unobtainable with just a knife or chisel.
Jim has taken his woodcarving and sculptures one step further in bronzing. He recently turned one of his woodcarvings into a bronze sculpture named "Glacier's Treasure" with a limited edition of 30.
